a continental breakfast

 

 

A very close friend of ours dropped in today to check up on us as we have had a tough run recently. So to bring some joy to our table I put together a sweet and savoury fare, playing with the "Continental breakfast " theme.

So here is what we had on a wet and overcast Sydney Sunday morning.

 

freshly squeezed orange juice

tropical fruit cups sprinkled with kaffir lime leaf

fresh figs, serrano ham and manchego shavings on toasted sourdough points

buchette de chevre - brie de nagis - fennel and garlic salami - raisin bread

mascerated cherries with french toast and mascarpone

And ohhhh it was good!!!
